"World Groans" is the name chosen by three young Egyptian artists for their exhibition, which they present today in the "Rafael Mihailov" exhibition halls in Veliko Tarnovo.

Shahenda Taalab, Reham Sakar and Reham Ahmed are graduates of Helwan University in Cairo, but they spent part of their studies in Bulgaria under the Erasmus academic exchange program. As students at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Veliko Tarnovo University that they decided to make the exhibition.

"The works created especially for the exhibition reveal the emotions and points of view of the authors, making us empathize with the longing for peace of the young, hopeful person," Associate Professor Anastasia Tonkova says.

"In this way, we express our feelings through art, wishing for world peace," the artists said, referring to the unrest that is painful for a world torn by brutal military conflicts.
