Since the first explosions in armories in 2011, there have been over 10 explosions and an assassination attempt against Emilian Gebrev. There have been no results in any of the investigations into the cases, Boyko Noev, former Minister of Defense and the country's ambassador to NATO, has told BNR.
"The Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of the Interior did not do enough to reveal these sabotages and terrorist acts. The question is whether this is ignorance or inability. I think there is something else. There are enough data, documents, witnesses and materials that during the previous two chief prosecutors and leadership of the State Agency for National Security the investigations were hindered," he commented and pointed out that physical evidence had been destroyed. "There are people in Bulgaria who helped the Russian agents, who came, poisoned, set off explosives and left."
Noev pointed out that the only new thing in the latest announcement of the prosecutor's office was that there could be a Bulgarian trace in the cases.
