After a ten-year break, at the end of 2023, the Bulgarian rock band Fandango released their new, fourth album titled ''Like the Birds'’. The band has been working on the album for a long time. Its title track was released back in 2020. However, this delay gives the band the opportunity to create more new beautiful songs that make the album richer. The band regards the album as the Best of Fandango from the last 8-9 years. It includes songs created years ago and released as singles, as well as completely unknown songs. That is why the music is so diverse, said the band’s frontman Hristo Stefanov:

''There are a lot of different songs in the album - you can't get an idea of what the album is like from one song. It's so diverse that it even includes a folk song titled ''Proviknal se Nikola'', performed in our way."

"The album comprises 15 tracks, including 10 new original pieces. There are also two duets with Silvi Milen, Hristo Stefanov's wife, including a remake of the song '’Vacation'’ from Fandango's second album released in 2002. They have also made a song cover of Stefan Dimitrov's song 'A Moment Like Eternity' - in a blues version with a harmonica. Here is what Hristo said about the latest single Attila:

"'Attila' is also a song in a style we have never played before. I can't even define what it is – perhaps ethno-rock. But the most interesting thing is that it has a historical theme – we haven't done such things before. It praises the legendary Attila. I am very keen on ancient Bulgarian history, and since it turns out from recent studies that Attila is connected to ancient Bulgarian history, I decided to make a song dedicated to him," explains Hristo Stefanov.
