Sofia City Prosecutor's Office issues European arrest warrants for Russian citizens charged with terrorism

The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office issued for the second time European arrest warrants for six Russian citizens charged with terrorism in Bulgaria. The investigation concerns four explosions that occurred between 2011 and 2020 at ammunition depots located on the territory of Bulgaria.

‘'Numerous actions have been taken in the course of the investigation. European investigation orders have been executed. The State Agency for National Security conducted operational search activities. It was established that Bulgaria was visited by six Russian citizens who used fake identities. The Russian citizens were involved in detonating the production of a commercial company producing weapons", the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office said.
