Actress Tsvetana Maneva receives the Sofia Municipality Award

Maneva, 80, will be presented with the prize at the award ceremony of the 28th Sofia Film Festival

Actress Tsvetana Maneva will receive the Sofia Municipality's "Sofia Award" for her contribution to the art of cinema. The actress turns 80 on January 30. The award will be presented to her on 23 March at the award ceremony of the 28th Sofia Film Festival. 

Tsvetana Maneva's name is synonymous with professionalism, talent, charm, magnetism and respect. She is an actress, a teacher, a creator, a pioneer, a socially committed person.

Along with Nevena Kokanova and Katya Paskaleva, Tsvetana Maneva is one of the most famous actresses of Bulgarian cinema, who has made a great contribution to the development and artistic excellence of the Bulgarian theatre, says the statement of the Sofia Municipality. 

The actress has been awarded the Golden Rose for Lifetime Achievement, the Ikar Award of the Union of Artists in Bulgaria and the Stara Planina Order.
