Mary Boys Band celebrates its 29th anniversary with a concert on January 27. The five-member band has come a long way since its establishment in 1995 in Sofia. Today, after numerous concerts, musical performances, meetings with fans, albums, awards and songs like "Unknown Streets", "Long Way Home" and " The Sunflowers", Mary Boys Band is one of the most successful and beloved groups in Bulgaria.

"The concert program on Saturday comprises songs selected by the band’s fans, who have long been voting online for their favorite Mary Boys Band song. However, the musicians are also working on new material. There will be a surprise at the concert, said the band’s singer Maria Mutafchieva (Mary):

"The good thing is that we are an active band and we have a lot of commitments this year. However, we will leave some time for making music because in recent years we have created fewer songs. I hope that we will have a new album for the 30th anniversary of Mary Boys Band next year. Those who come to Sofia Live Club on January 27 will have the privilege to hear a new song. We will record the piece later, but for now I want it to be a live gift for all our people. So, see you all on Saturday and let’s have a celebration!’’

''Only For You'' from Mary Boys Band‘s album of the same name, released exactly 20 years ago, will be among the songs performed at the concert on Saturday.
