For comparison, a record-high number of people watched Bulgarian films in 2022- 644,000.
Ticket revenue from Bulgarian films decreased from almost EUR 3 million to EUR 2.17 million. In 2023, there were 28 premieres of Bulgarian films as compared to 25 premieres in the previous year.
