Weather forecast for January 9

Yellow code for cold weather in most regions of Bulgaria

On Tuesday night, there will be snowfalls over the entire country. Snow cover will form in the northern regions of Bulgaria and the mountainous areas. During the day, the precipitation will weaken. It will be cold with almost no variation in temperatures during the day. Around 2 p.m., temperatures will be between minus 5 and 0°C; in Sofia - minus 3°C.

At the Black Sea coast there will be rainfalls mixed with snow, accompanied by strong, cold wind from the north. Air temperatures will be between minus 3 and 2°C. Sea water temperature is 9-10°C.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy with snow showers that will taper off before noon. The temperature at 1200 m above sea level will be minus 3°C, at 2000 m up to minus 7°C.
