Weather forecast for 5 January

Lows above freezing, highs up to 15°C

 On Friday, lows will be between 1 and 6°C, with Sofia at 2°C. It will be sunny during the day. After midday, clouds will increase over western Bulgaria, but there will be no precipitation. Maximum temperatures will be between 10 and 15°C, 10°C in the capital. 

The Black Sea coast will be sunny. Air temperatures will be up to 12-15°C, while the sea water temperature will be a little lower at 8-10°C. The sea swell will be 1-2. 

Over the mountains it will be sunny, but in the afternoon clouds will form from the west. Temperatures will reach 9°C at 1,200 m and 2°C at 2,000 m. 

Saturday will be cloudy with no precipitation. On Sunday it will rain, above 1,800 m in the mountains it will snow.
