National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology forecasts normal temperatures for January

In January 2024, the temperatures will be close the norm, but the weather will be dynamic and with more precipitation, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology predicts.

There is a chance of significant precipitation of both rain and snow between January 5 and 10. Frequent precipitation is expected between January 10 and 20. There will be snow in Northern and Western Bulgaria. Rain is in the forecast for the Upper Thracian Plain and the Black Sea coast. It will be relatively cold in Mid-January.

After January 20, temperatures will be close to normal, with a chance of precipitation around January 25.

The highest temperatures in January will reach 13°C -18°C. The lowest temperatures will drop to minus 13°C, the monthly forecast reads.
