The Radio Children are the youngest and most cheerful addition to the family of music groups of the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR). The vocal group was "born" in 1990, as the creator, leader and conceptual inspiration of the vocal group is conductor Ilina Todorova.

Under Ilina Todorova's skilled leadership, the group has released 7 albums and recorded over 400 songs, more than 100 of which were created especially for it by prominent Bulgarian authors.

The first rehearsal was attended by 39 children aged 3 to 12, and the first recordings were made just a few months later.

At their very first tour - in 1993 in Greece at Christmas - the young performers conquered the hearts of young and old audiences alike.

The Radio Children are favorite soloists of all BNR ensembles and regular participants in radio festivals.
