Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 21 December 2023

Partly cloudy skies, no precipitation expected on Thursday

On Thursday, the minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will be between -3 and 2°C, in Sofia - it will be 0°C. In the valleys and around the bodies of water there will be fog or low clouds. In the Danube plain, a northwesterly wind will lower temperatures. 

The maximum temperatures tomorrow will be from 5 to 10°C, highs of 5°C is expected in the capital.

There will be clouds along the Black Sea coast, but no precipitation. Air temperatures will be 8-10°C. The temperature of the sea water is 9-10°C. 

There will be partly cloudy skies over the mountains. The temperature at 1,200 m above sea level will be 5°C, at 2,000 m it will be -1°C.

On Friday, cloudy skies are expected. In Western Bulgaria, it will rain, in the higher valleys rain will turn to snow.
