The leader of "Save Sofia" Boris Bonev, whose party won the local elections in the capital city in coalition with We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria, said that there are people among his partners who want an "assemblage" in the Sofia Municipal Council. "We will not participate in joint governance with GERB and will be in opposition", Boris Bonev said for bTV.

The Sofia Municipal Council will today make a fifth attempt to elect a chairman. According to Boris Bonev, Greti Stefanova, who is the oldest municipal councilor, will be nominated. He referred to the election of Vezhdi Rashidov as Speaker of the 48th National Assembly on the proposal of the Bulgarian Socialist Party leader Kornelia Ninova. In his words, Stefanova's candidacy will "unblock" the work in the Sofia Municipal Council.
