Weather forecast for 18 December

Temperatures rising on Monday

Overnight it will be mostly clear with a light westerly wind. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 3 and minus 2 degrees Celsius, around minus 2 degrees Celsius in Sofia. Monday will be mostly sunny. Light to moderate westerly winds will blow in the Danube plain. In the morning, the Upper Thracian lowlands and the valleys of south-western Bulgaria will be almost calm, with some fog or low clouds. Daytime temperatures will continue to rise, with highs between 8°C and 13°C, 8-9°C in Sofia.

The mountains will be sunny. In the higher parts of the country there will be light and moderate north-north-westerly winds. Temperatures will rise, reaching a maximum of about 8°C at 1200 m and about 3°C at 2000 m.

The Black Sea coast will be mostly sunny with light winds from the west. Maximum temperatures will be 9-10°C, the same as the temperature of the sea water. The sea swell will be 1-2.
