The Electricity System Operator (ESO) proposes the construction of two new European energy corridors to make the most efficient use of green energy. The project has been recognized by the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity and is included for consideration in their 10-year implementation plan, ESO Executive Director Angelin Tsachev said for BNR.
The first energy corridor starts from Greece and crosses Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Germany to connect Southeastern Europe with Northwestern Europe.
