Prime Minster Denkov says inflation has dropped to pre-Ukraine war levels

Inflation has fallen to levels from before the war in Ukraine. In October 2021 it was 6%, and this October it is 5.8%, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov said before the government meeting today. 

"We have also introduced measures guaranteeing the lowest prices for essential products", this is how Denkov reported the first 6 months of his administration. "Exactly half a year ago, we took over the government with the clear awareness that we meet public expectations for a stable government that will take care of people and businesses. We knew that we would be facing long-standing issues, electoral populism, furious political attacks and misinformation every day. We were aware that the tasks were difficult and the support uncertain. However, we showed that we are a team", added the Prime Minister.
