The song conveys a special message, especially as it is came out during the week of Mental Health Day. The singer has dedicated “Breathing” to all people who are fighting the self-destructive impulse. She says words and music can be a powerful means of expression and support in difficult times.
On social media, Dara Ekimova wrote: “You are all special, loved and close to someone’s heart. You, your bodies, tour minds. We all have battles to fight. Do not forget your passion. When I am in the darkest place, when everything is hopeless, I go back to what makes me passionate.”
