Bulgarian illustrator Alya Markova wins two prizes at Gourmand World Cookbook Awards

“Cookbook for grown-up children" with recipes and illustrations by Bulgarian author Alya Markova won two awards at the international Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, announced "List" publishing house. The awards are in the "Illustration" and "Best Cookbook in Eastern Europe" categories. Authors from 205 countries participated in the 29th edition of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards held in Riyadh.

“Cookbook for grown-up children" collects 14 recipes for savory dishes and 14 recipes for desserts and snacks, with instructions in comics story.

Alya Markova was born in Bulgaria, but grew up in Spain. She has created her own culinary blog, presenting recipes in drawings, and some of them are collected in a "Cookbook for grown-up children".  She is part of the Spanish editorial team of "Radio Bulgaria"
