At 7 PM tonight, the Big Band of the Bulgarian National Radio is kicking off its concert season in Studio No. 1 of the BNR, with music by Andy Schofield, one of Europe’s most successful and well-established jazz musicians.

The concert will be conducted by Antoni Donchev. In an interview with the BNR’s Radio Sofia, Maestro Donchev described Andy Schofield as a prince of British and world music. “He has managed to find the winding path that links the most interesting and exciting traditions of jazz music with the music of today, and the music of tomorrow,” Antoni Donchev said.
