Bulgaria and Greece signed a Program for joint activities in the tourism sector for 2024-2026, Bulgaria's Ministry of Tourism announced.

The agreement was signed before the official opening of the international tourism exhibition "Philoxenia" 2023 in Thessaloniki, at which Bulgaria was the guest of honor with a stand of 100 square meters.

Tourism is a sector that offers new economic opportunities and our cultural heritage connects people, stressed the Minister of Tourism, Zaritsa Dinkova, after a meeting with her Greek counterpart, Olga Kefalogianni.

"Our bilateral cooperation is developing more and more intensively. The number of Greek tourists in Bulgaria continues to grow and Greece remains one of the most preferred destinations for Bulgarian tourists," added Dinkova, quoted by BTA.
