Football: Ludogorets defeats Fenerbahçe by 2-0

Bulgarian football team Ludogorets played one of its best matches in recent years, winning versus Fenerbahçe by 2-0 on home ground. This means the team from Razgrad now stands a chance of qualifying in the Conference League eliminations.

The Bulgarian side, with coach Georgi Dermendzhiev, earned its 3 points with the goal scored by Jakub Piotrowski in the 18th minute, and a second goal by Rwan Seco in the extra time.

“Is Ludogorets making a comeback in Europe – this may be the beginning,” Georgi Dermendzhiev commented.

In Group H, Fenerbahçe has the highest number of points – 9, followed by Nordsjælland with 7, Ludogorets with 6 and Spartak Trnava with 1 point.
