Alexander Zverev arrives in Bulgaria for Sofia Open 2023

Olympic champion Alexander Zverev will participate in the Sofia Open 2023 tournament, an ATP 250 event in the period November 4 to 11th, the Bulgarian Tennis Federation has reported. The inclusion of the German tennis player became possible with a special permission from ATP after the refusal of Frances Tiafoe and Ben Shelton to take part.

Alexander Zverev, who is currently ninth in the world ranking will play for the first time in Bulgaria and will try to secure participation in the ATP Finals in Turin.
