Vice President Iliana Iotova meets with Bulgarians in Hungary

On October 18 and 19, Vice President Iliana Yotova is on a working visit to Hungary at the invitation of the Bulgarian community there. In the city of Halásztelek, the vice president will pay respects in front of the monument erected in honor of Bulgarian gardeners, who were mainly emigrants from Bulgaria in the past.

Iotova will also meet with representatives of the local authorities and the Bulgarian self-government in Halásztelek. On the Day of Bulgarian-Hungarian Friendship - October 19, when the Bulgarian Orthodox Church honors St. John of Rila, the Vice President will have a meeting with Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament László Kövér.
