No refugee wave from the Middle East to Bulgaria is currently expected

Support for Ukraine means support for our security. Bulgaria condemns the terrorist organization "Hamas". We must monitor the humanitarian situation and global risks, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel said at the conference "Government Meets the Business".

Currently, Bulgaria is not a country on the way of migrant flows from the Middle East. According to Gabriel, the question of the obstacles to Bulgaria's entry into Schengen should be directed to the two countries that remain skeptical. "According to me, it is important that Bulgaria continues to state its arguments very clearly. The Schengen area will work better, if Bulgaria and Romania are part of it", Gabriel also said. "It is a fact that there should be an information campaign about the euro and we should calm people's fears", she added.
