Legendary Bulgarian singer Margret Nikolova celebrates her 95th birthday today.

Born in Sofia in 1928, she started performing music at an early age. In 1951, she graduated from the Bulgarian State Conservatory with two majors - piano and singing. Her active creative career, spanning half a century, has given the singer a pivotal place in Bulgarian popular music. Having won a number of awards at home and abroad, she remains in history as the first recipient of the "Deserved Artist" title for pop singer back in 1964. Most of Bulgaria’s famous composers wrote songs especially for her.

Let's go 60 years back in time with the song "Kiss me" with lyrics and music by Yosif Tsankov, whose songs Margret Nikolova defines as the favorite in her repertoire.
