The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will support the vote of no confidence in the government for its policy in the Energy sector, Kornelia Ninova, chairperson of the BSP, said in parliament. The decision was taken at an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Bureau and the parliamentary group of socialists.

Ninova explained that the BSP would complement the motives for a no-confidence vote of the Vazrazhdane party. We are also giving our signatures and will introduce a vote of no confidence in the afternoon, Ninova added.

GERB will not be the party that will overthrow this government, party leader Boyko Borissov said on the sidelines of parliament. According to him, the vote of no confidence, which the opposition will bring because of the Energy sector, will not pass. At the moment, we have a strong legislative power, believes the leader of GERB. According to him, the government should not bring the ruling majority into crises.
