Sofia National Opera presents Die Walküre in Germany

The Sofia National Opera Company is a guest at the Neuschwanstein Festival Theatre in the German city of Füssen. The new production of "Die Walküre" from Wagner's tetralogy "The Ring of the Nibelungs" under the direction of academician Plamen Kartalov is awaited with great interest. On Saturday, the two announcing flashmobs with the famous Walkürenritt (the beginning of the third act of Die Walküre - ed.) were a great success.

"I have been working in opera for about 40 years. But to have so many Wagner singers in Bulgaria is something extraordinary. Not many countries can boast of that. And it was a pleasure to welcome them here," said the producer of the Königswinkel music festival, Florian Zwipf-Zaharia. The first performance will be on October 1 at 4 p.m. and the next on Tuesday.
