Agreement reached with protesters is part of government's priorities, PM Denkov says

The tension we see in media and in the street is a reflection of a huge amount of accumulated distrust in the political class, as energy workers, miners and farmers have been lied to many times over the years. This is what Prime Minister Academician Nikolai Denkov said at the beginning of the governmental meeting.

He thanked the negotiation teams of protesters for coming and engaging in talks with the government and achieving results. "This is the way to solve problems - through negotiations. All decisions correspond to the goals and priorities of the government. In such cases, both parties win and there is no need for one to be on the losing side. In fact, the criticism is not directed at us. Everyone understands that we have placed in a situation where we need to react quickly,"  Denkov added.
