Eighth-grader Andrey Stefanov, who studies in the First Private Mathematical High School in Sofia, won a gold medal at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (EJOI) in Georgia. He became first in a competition against 92 participants from 24 countries, the Ministry of Education announced.
Three students of the Science and Mathematics High School in Shumen won a silver and two bronze medals. Serkan Rashid, a student in the 8th grade, has a silver medal.
