Wet Pebbles - " Dazhdoven Funk"

In line with the approaching autumn, we bring you the song "Dazhdoven Funk/Rainy Funk" - the third original song of the pop-swing band Wet Pebbles. It was recorded at the Bulgarian National Radio as a reward for the band's debut with their song "Magiyata se Zavurtya" - a finalist of the Spring 2021 pop and rock music contest. Teodora Nikolaeva (Teddy Velvet) wrote the music and the lyrics of the piece. The arrangement is by Boyana Zhelyazkova-Zareva-violin, Danail Brezov- bass guitar and Nevina Grigorova- drums.

"Rainy Funk" is a song about love, rain and space. It tells the story of a girl travelling in an intercity bus on Trakia motorway. The bus resembles the Hale-Bopp comet and ‘flies’ in the pouring rain.

The gardener she's in love with is waiting for her somewhere in Sofia, watering the roses in the garden, just like the rain and Stan Getz's solos pour from the sky like "Rainy Funk."
