Municipalities offering SPA tourism have reported a 12% increase in the number of tourists for the January-20 August period, compared to the same period of last year, Deputy Minister of Tourism Irena Georgieva announced at the opening of the 10th congress of the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and Spa Tourism in Pamporovo. More than 730,000 tourist registrations have been reported in Velingrad, Hisarya, Sandanski, Troyan, Pavel Banya, Razlog, Gurmen, Velingrad, Devin, Kyustendil and Vurshets. 680, 000 of them are by Bulgarian tourists, the growth rate here is 11%.
