The state of emergency in the municipality of Tsarevo remains in force until all risks to the population disappear, the local crisis headquarters decided. There is no set deadline for lifting the state of emergency, said Deputy Mayor Marin Kirov.

Installation of the temporary bridge at the site of the collapsed one on the Tsarevo-Ahtopol road continues, added Kirov. Traffic takes a detour route through remote villages in Strandzha Mountain. The cause of the flood is not the uncleared ravines, but the large catchment, after the huge rainfall, Kirov also commented.

The results of the drinking water samples, which the health authorities have declared unfit for drinking, are awaited. Water samples will be taken more often, Health Minister Prof. Hristo Hinkov told bTV and emphasized that for now the water in the region is only suitable for household needs.
