At the 2023 World Rowing Championships in Belgrade, Bulgaria’s Desislava Angelova qualified for the women’s skiff “A” finals.
Angelova finished third in the first semi-final, clocking 7:42.45 minutes in the 2,000 m., thus securing for herself a place in the battle for the medals, and earning he first Olympic quota for Bulgaria for the rowing competition in Paris in 2024.
