Child struck by lightning in Ruse improves

The condition of the 11-year-old child who suffered a lightning strike and was admitted to the University Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment in Ruse is gradually improving, the press centre of the hospital said. The medics are still treating the child's post-traumatic injuries. Yesterday the boy was brought out of the medically induced sleep and extubated. 

The District Prosecutor's Office in Ruse is investigating the case. All the details related to the safety requirements of the football ground, where the accident occurred, the presence and suitability of the lightning protection systems are being investigated.
