The Asparuhov Beach in Varna hosts the Aerial Miracles festival, BNT reported. Once again, high above the seashore, huge colorful kites of various shapes dotted the sky.

The International Kite Festival, held every summer in Varna, Shabla and other places along Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, has established itself as a beautiful tradition and celebration, attracting thousands of people. Its mission is to direct people's attention to the preservation of nature, and this year's emphasis is on birds and their migration.

This year's edition of the colorful extravaganza will again go around Bulgaria's entire Black Sea coast from south to north, following the Black Sea migratory route of birds "Via Pontica".

After Varna's Asparuhovo beach on August 26 and 27, Shkorpilovtsi North beaches will follow on August 29; Albena - August 30; Topola Sky - August 31; Shabla, Malkoto More - on September 2 and 3.

The kite dance is also an excellent opportunity to promote creativity and imagination, as well as to strengthen family ties and have fun spending free time.

Representatives from seven countries, including Greece, Turkey, Germany, Estonia and Ukraine are participating in the festival this year.
