Council of Ministers discussed the situation in the Black Sea

The Security Council of the Council of Ministers discussed the temporary warning zone in the Black Sea declared by the Russian Federation in the exclusive economic zone of Bulgaria. 

The Council also considered a draft law submitted to the National Assembly on amending and supplementing the Law on Control of the Implementation of Restrictive Measures in View of Russia's Actions Destabilising the Situation in Ukraine. The issue is the termination of the derogation for the processing of Russian crude oil from the Lukoil refinery.

Decisions were taken on this occasion to draw up reports on the possible national security implications that could result from the adoption of the tabled bill.
