Hot Friday, temperatures expected to reach 41°C

It will be mostly clear overnight Friday. During the day it will be sunny and hot with maximum temperatures between 36°C and 41°C, lower in the easternmost parts of the country. In Sofia - around 36°C.

In the mountains it will be mostly sunny with afternoon clouds in the the western part of the country. There may be occasional showers and thunder. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be about 30°C, at 2,000 m - about 23°C.

Along the Black Sea coast the weather will be sunny with maximum temperatures between 26° and 31°C, sea water temperatures - 22°-24°C, north of Cape Kaliakra - about 18°. The sea swell will be 2, but in the evening it will begin to intensify.
