A gigantic land art appeared near Durankulak

A huge land art has appeared on the coast of the village of Durankulak on the Bulgarian-Romanian border. The author of the artwork is Vivia Niki, BTA reported. The work is dedicated to love and preservation of the natural environment. It is the largest landscape painting ever made in Bulgaria, with a scale of 510 square meters. It is 30 m long and 17 m wide. It is entirely composed of natural materials - sand, green algae, and chalk, which is as environmentally friendly as possible.

The artist Vivia Niki is an architect, filmmaker and musician by training. Over the years she has been working in the field of fine arts and is involved in environmental causes. She founded the Orchard Youth Committee, which planted two charity orchards in Sofia.
