Red weather warning for extreme heat in 3 regions, orange weather warning in 18

Tuesday will be sunny and hot. A red weather warning for extreme heat is in place for the regions of Pleven, Veliko Turnovo and Ruse. Minimum temperatures 18-22° C., for Sofia 18° C. Maximum temperatures 36-41° C., for Sofia 37° C.  

Over the Black Sea coast there will be sun. Maximum air temperature 27° C., along the Northern, and up to 33° C. along the Southern portion of the coastline, Temperature of the sea water 24-26° C., sea state 2-3.  

Over the mountains there will be sun, with clouds and possible rain in the afternoon. Temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m, up to 24° C., at 2,000 m. 24° C.

On Wednesday the weather will continue hot. Over Western and Central Bulgaria there will be summer thunderstorms.
