The organizers of the Rozhen National Folklore Fair removed from the event’s website a photo of Bessarabian Bulgarians with the Ukrainian flag, BGNES reported. "Just one photo of three groups from Bolhrad, Ukraine, became a threat to the organizers of the event”, wrote Zhanna Suslina, Head of the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports at the Bolhrad Municipal Council.

"The photo stayed on the festival’s official page only for a few hours and then you removed it. Don't be afraid of photos, of us and our flag, we are here with a cultural program! We will go home with our heads held high, with love for our homeland Ukraine and our ancestral homeland Bulgaria. We have enough strength, will and patience to survive this "war". Long live Ukraine! Long live Bulgaria!", wrote Zhanna Suslina.
