Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel has met with the ambassadors of non-EU countries to Bulgaria.

At Boyana residence, Minister Gabriel presented the priorities of Bulgaria’s foreign policy, connected with the country’s membership of the European Union and NATO, as well its active involvement in international institutions and initiatives.

“Three-level cooperation – bilateral relations, regional partnerships and global cooperation – plays a crucial role in addressing the current challenges,” Mariya Gabriel stated. Particular attention was given, at the meeting, to the strategic sectors – security, energy, innovations and mobility. Bulgaria’s foreign minister called for these problems to be tackled following “common international rules and shared values”.
