A Ukrainian plant will repair six engines for the Bulgarian MiG-29 fighter aircraft, it became clear from the decision on the public procurement.

For this purpose, Bulgaria undertakes to pay BGN 15.5 million without duty and VAT.

The transaction will be carried out through the Bulgarian company TEREM - HOLDING EAD, which will use the Lutsk repair plant "Motor" as a subcontractor. Engines will be transported by ground or other transport.

Bulgaria will maintain Soviet-made fighters until the arrival of the new F-16s. The first of these is expected to arrive in 2025.
