To observe World Refugee Day:

People from migrant communities in Bulgaria will take part in football tournament

A football tournament on the occasion of the World Refugee Day will be held today in the Sport Sofia complex in the capital's Vazrazhdane park. It is organized by the Refugee and Migrant Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross together with the representation of the High Commissioner for Refugees and representative teams from the refugee and migrant communities in Bulgaria will participate in it.

World Refugee Day has been observed since 2001 on June 20 to express sympathy for the plight of millions of people forced to flee their homelands due to conflict and persecution. The motto this year is "Hope Away from Home".
