Precipitation decreasing, temperatures slightly rising
There will be brief showers accompanied by thunderstorms over the weekend, but they will be fewer and weaker. In mountainous areas in western Bulgaria, however, there will be conditions for more intense showers, overnight and until midday. Rain showers are also possible in eastern Bulgaria in the afternoon. Clouds will break and decrease after midday, and by the evening rainfall will weaken everywhere and stop in most of the country. Maximum temperatures will be between 22°C and 27°C, around 21°C in Sofia.
Along the Black Sea coast clouds will be variable, more significant in the afternoon when there will be short, intense showers and thunderstorms. Moderate winds will blow from the north-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be 25°-27°C. Sea water temperature will be 23°-25°C. Sea swell will be 2-3.
In the mountains the cloudiness will be considerable. Intense showers and thunderstorms may occur by midday. By the evening, precipitation will stop in most areas, clouds will break and decrease. After noon, winds will begin to orient from the northwest, will be mostly moderate. The maximum temperature at 1,200 metres will be around 15°C, at 2,000 metres around 8°C.
