To mark Father’s Day, the National Museum of Military History (NMMH) is celebrating the special father-child bond today. From 10 AM until 5 PM today, children will be able to see how robots are programmed, step into the shoes of firefighters, go inside a fire engine, a modern military vehicle or an excavator, made available by the Bulgarian army, sit behind the wheel of the most modern cars, ride a bicycle or a scooter, or solve a military crossword. An open-air reading room will offer young and old interesting books to read, and there will be a TV corner for their favourite children’s films. Admission is free.
The NMMH’s branches – the Museum of Aviation in Krumovo, the Vladislav Varnenchik museum-park and the Maritime Museum in Varna also have surprises lined up for Father’s Day.
