Caretaker Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev has ordered two inspections related to Angel Hristov-Gele known as one of the notorious "Galevi Brothers" from Dupnitsa, the Ministry of the Interior announced. The man wanted with a red notice by Interpol returned to Bulgaria and died of a heart attack in his mansion.

The first check concerns the question of how Angel Hristov entered Bulgaria without being arrested by the Border Police, given that there is a valid sentence against him.

The second check concerns the work of the police in Kyustendil, which had no information that he was at his home in the village of Resilovo.

In the public part of the Interpol system, Angel Hristov's name still appears. It is recorded there that the Bulgarian is wanted for participation in a criminal group and extortion.
