The President of Croatia Zoran Milanović, who is on a visit to this country, declared Croatia’s support for Bulgaria’s accession to the Schengen area.

President Milanović and Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev reaffirmed their countries’ support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine and condemned the Russian aggression. The two countries are insisting on a swift diplomatic settlement of the conflict due to the growing risks. President Milanović also commented there exists a risk of Albania and the Republic of North Macedonia being separated in the process of negotiations on accession to the EU because for North Macedonia there are conditions which, if it does not comply with, then, unlike Albania, the negotiations will not continue.
