The Appellate Court-Sofia has permanently remanded eighteen-year-old driver Adrian Antonov who killed two young people on a zebra crossing on Slivnitsa Boulevard in Sofia. The detainee is charged with negligent homicide. He allegedly caused the deaths of Anna-Maria Milcheva and her fiancé Yavor Stoyanov by speeding.

The magistrates upheld the first instance ruling that the driver of the car may commit a new crime because of his behaviour on the road - driving in an urban area at night at 101 km/h. Adrian’s lawyer pleaded for house arrest.
