Bulgaria has its place in the film market accompanying the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The Bulgarian representative pavilion is shared together with Cyprus and six other Balkan countries - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia.

Within the framework of the festival starting today, the National Film Center has organized two events -  Happy Hour together with Cyprus on May 20, and There Is No Place Like Now together with Israel the next day on the topic of co-productions and joint projects.

Bulgarian producer Vanya Rainova was selected within the European Film Promotion initiative that presents promising European producers, connecting them with potential creative partners.
