Slight increase in temperatures on Saturday, but still cool for the season

On Saturday before noon in Western Bulgaria, rain will temporarily stop and clouds will break. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop over the mountainous regions and short-term rain will fall again in some places. Sunny spells are expected over the eastern half of the country throughout the day. 

Daytime temperatures will rise slightly as highs will be between 17 °C and 22 °C, in Sofia - around 18 °C.

Sunny weather is expected along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, with maximum air temperatures of 16°C-18°C and seawater temperatures of 14°C.

In the mountains, before noon, the precipitation will temporarily stop and the clouds will disperse In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop over the massifs of Western Bulgaria and short-term rain with thunder will fall in some places, snow will fall above 2000 m. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be about 12 °C, at 2,000 m - about 4 °C.

An increase in temperatures is expected in the coming days and on Monday daytime highs will reach 21 °C-26 °C.
